This headteacher’s office refurbishment project for Bromley High School was an exciting change from our usual projects. We designed and built this luxurious headteachers office and meeting space, helping the school to maintain it’s great reputation.
We were approached by our existing customer Bromley High School to develop the interior design and furniture solution for the Headteacher’s office. The school was welcoming a new Head to the school and wanted to upgrade the current space.
We commenced the design by obtaining a full understanding of the new Headteacher’s office refurbishment brief. This was simple in essence but very detailed in realisation! The message was clear – it needs to be a home from home, a place where students and staff feel welcome to drop in for a discussion.
Having worked with Envoplan before, the client wanted to engage with our team to create the perfect balance of homeliness and relaxation with an effective working and meeting space. Through numerous, detailed discussions involving sample products, finishes and liaison with the school management team we created a scheme which the new Headteacher was delighted with.
The end result was a lovely combination of subtle green and oak finishes with a warm inviting feel. We designed and commissioned a bespoke dining table together with solid wood chairs which were upholstered in matching fabric to the sofas and curtains. Coupled with this a beautiful Pippy Oak veneered bow front desk was made to complement the entire scheme. Full height Oak shelving was also installed to create the perfect showcase for the client and this also housed the presentation screen.
