Norman Hay were looking to relocate both their manufacturing plant and head office. They underwent Envoplan’s Habit Action Workplace analysis to discover their unique working habits and collaboration patterns. Following this research, they could implement an office space that helped the team to work more productively.
The main benefit of the new space was the increased number of meeting rooms, which has been gratefully received by many of the team! Aside from the workplace analysis and design of the space, Envoplan also project managed and refurbished the space in very tight timescales.
The project duration was 14 weeks from start of the construction phase to Practical Completion including client changes and variations along the way.
The building that Norman Hay relocated into was originally considered to be unsuitable for purpose due to the lack of office space. Following the Habit Action work space analysis, Envoplan were able to design Norman Hay a scheme that proposed using a mezzanine floor across the warehouse area to accommodate the offices and laboratory. The new design scheme also included a greater number of meeting rooms, and plenty of space for the team to collaborate and socialise together.
Aside from new office space, the new building also included a state-of-the-art laboratory, canteen and break-out spaces, a manufacturing plant and client facing areas.
Envoplan was Principal Contractor for the entire site managing the factory and warehouse installation as well as the office space fit out. Our dedicated project management team worked hard to deliver the project on-time, paying great attention to detail. Envoplan assisted with the office move working closely with Norman Hay’s staff to keep operational downtime to a minimum.
