Science Lab Brief
We worked with the school on this exciting and innovative science lab project. The brief was to create an inspirational learning space that had a true ‘wow’ factor and inspired the students.
Our Challenge
The challenge was to fit out the science labs with bespoke furniture and state-of-the-art technology, all to be completed within term time.
Envoplan's Solution
The dramatic impact was achieved using top quality furniture and finishes, complete with state-of-the-art AV and IT solutions. The uniquely shaped workstations have under-desk integrated connection points, to enhance the use of technology. These connect to the wide format display screens and sound system. Video recording is also accommodated within the space. The shape of the work desks is mirrored by back-lit acoustic panels on the ceiling.
The scope of works included full user-centred design (including all science staff, AV and IT teams), fit out of the labs and bespoke furniture manufacturing, and was all completed within term time.
