Tudor Hall's Brief
Tudor Hall School invited us to work with them on their much-anticipated new Teaching Centre in order to create an inspirational, modern learning environment for their students. With the very involved build process already underway, thought was turned to the interiors and how the spaces could be developed into stunning spaces for the school to use. Our team’s remit was to design, source and install the loose FF&E in every area within the new building.
Our Challenge
The main aim of the project was to move Tudor Hall’s teaching spaces into a more modern, vibrant and flexible scheme. This involved consultation with teachers and careful planning of the space available.
Envoplan's Solution
Our interior design team worked in close collaboration with the school to develop a design scheme that would be fitting for the various faculties that operate within the new Teaching Centre. The agreed concepts were then developed into a detailed design, including 3D visualisation of key areas and space plan options to ensure the deliverability of the overall scheme. This, in turn, led to detailed furniture designs for bespoke products such as lockers and textiles benches which our team manufactured. Final installation was carefully managed to work in with the building contractor’s schedule as all teams pulled together to achieve the completion date required for the school to open the new building. The result is a fantastic space that the school is using in a multiple of ways to achieve ever greater results.
