Sherborne's Brief
Sherborne Preparatory School were looking for a unique and stylish storage and furniture solution for their pre-prep school classrooms. The school wanted to implement a teaching wall solution that incorporated trays and jumbo trays and shelf units, as well as movable art storage, shaped classroom tables and seating.
We worked closely with the school to design matching furniture solutions for all the classrooms within their pre-prep department. We took on-board the needs of the users and each classroom had slightly different sized furniture. We installed furniture that grew with the students, with the smallest tables and seating in the reception classroom, increasing in size for the older pupils.
Our Challenge
The school was looking for a prep school classroom furniture scheme that could be easily reconfigured, depending upon the needs of the class. We worked closely with the school to develop a shaped table, that was easy to move and fitted into a number of layout options.
Once the table was designed, we manufactured the items in multiple sizes at our Hemel Hempstead manufacturing facility, adding creative coloured edging strips and other unique features.
The bespoke design elements to this project allowed Sherborne Preparatory School to create a distinctive prep school classroom design that was truly unique to them.
Envoplan's Solution
Envoplan designed and manufactured a unique range of classroom furniture to suit Sherborne Preparatory School’s requirements. Curved corners for extra safety and style, brightly coloured edging details, as well as introducing complimentary colours throughout the space combine to create a stunning classroom scheme. The new classrooms are a great addition to this prestigious school.
We coupled clean white and grey finishes with lime green and turquoise. This new prep school classroom furniture scheme is a calming yet stylish environment in which the pupils can grow and develop.
