Barrow Hill's Brief
This truly unique project was a real privilege to work on! Barrow Hills School is a wonderful Prep School tucked away in the Surrey countryside. We were invited to develop a design scheme for their library which needed a new lease of life.
Our Challenge
The main objective of the project was to create a space where children can ‘lose themselves in a book’. We also needed to incorporate a teaching/research space as well as plenty of book storage.
Envoplan's Solution
Our design team got to work and created an attractive yet practical scheme which included touches of William Morris patterns which complemented the era of the building. The design incorporated plenty of storage as well as a display feature for notable pieces of artwork and other exhibits. The finished result has been extremely well received and has gained attention from the local press.
